Why Timothy

Timothy is the ultimate type of grass for horses and rodents. The leave : stem ratio differs from that of the most common grasses in the Netherlands. For the stem content is higher. Therefore it is much richer in structure and has to be chewed longer. The sugar percentage is lower than that of other grasses, the calcium : phosphor ratio is nicely 2:1 and in addition timothy is very tasty. The timothy is cultivated in Zeeland and harvested under perfect weather conditions and dried into tasty feed.
